Meet Dr. Brian Mortenson
" I obtained my bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of Arizona. I continued my education and graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). While in dental school, I established a strong interest and foundation for whole body health care and pursued a Certificate in Public Health with a dental emphasis." - The Other Guy In Charge
Yes Sir, Captain Sir!
After dental school Dr. Brian served as a Captain in the United States Army treating our country’s soldiers. Throughout his years of military service Dr. Brian continued his passion for pediatric dentistry by working in several pediatric dental practices throughout Central and West Texas.
Upon fulfilling his military service, Dr. Brian completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. During this time, he received extensive training in dentistry for children and adolescents and individuals with special health care needs. His training also specialized in sedation and general anesthesia, as well as treating medically compromised patients and dental trauma-related emergencies.

Dr. Brian is fluent in Spanish and has participated in numerous dental mission trips throughout Central and South America. He loves giving back and providing service to those in need.
A True Prescottonian
Dr. Brian grew up in Prescott Arizona, Graduated from Prescott High School and is so excited to be back and a part of the community that he loves. When Dr. Brian is not in the office, he enjoys snowboarding, hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, backpacking and coaching and playing all sports. Dr. Brian and his wife Catherine have four children and they love to be outdoors and travel.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Brian Is passionate about making your child’s dental experience as pleasant and as fun as possible.
